Building 1/ Building 2

International Exchange Lounge

A shared space where students can engage in activities as they like, such as studying and chatting with friends.

SPOON

A lounge where students can study during breaks, eat meals, and enjoy their spare time.

Self-Development Center

Students can study here throughout the day. Individual booths are available and conducive to focused study.

ASC(Academic Support Center)

The ASC is staffed by the Coordinator of Language Programs in the School of International Liberal Arts and senior teaching students who have excelled at the University.

The ASC is currently an English FIRST environment, and visitors are encouraged to speak English as much as possible, but not necessarily 100% in English (with the exception of international students who receive Japanese language support).

Regardless of the department, students can visit the ASC and receive support for TOEIC and EIKEN examinations, for all studies (including writing graduation theses) as well as for English study, and for various other advices on study abroad and study methods.

There are also a variety of new resources available for learning and practicing English, Japanese, and some content-based courses


Building 3

Building 3 includes a computer classroom for ICT classes and a piano lesson room for piano classes.

International Exchange Center

There is a cafeteria, vending machines. This space is filled with students from the university and neighboring junior college during lunch time.


Lunch Hall

The cafeteria on the first floor of the International Exchange Center is always crowded with students.

The cafeteria offers a daily lunch (480 yen/tax included), curry with pork cutlet (480 yen/tax included), and many other dishes to satisfy everyone’s hunger.

MEI Library

The MEI Library is jointly managed by Miyazaki International College and Miyazaki Gakuen Junior College. All faculty and students of both institutions share the same library privileges.

Most of the materials in the library may be searched using the online catalog. Instructions (in Japanese and English) are available beside each terminal in the library.

Books in English are primarily shelved on the 3rd floor. The collection is catalogued according to the Library of Congress Classification(LCC) system for English books and the Nippon Decimal Classification (NDC) system for Japanese books. Guides to both systems are available in the library. 


Gym

Used for physical education classes and athletic club activities.


Piano Practice Room

Twenty electronic pianos are available for use. Students are free to use them throughout the day.


Parking lot

Parking lotis available for 121 cars. (3,000 yen per semester) A lottery will be held each semester.
