Why did you choose MIC and Japan?

The reason I chose MIC was because I wanted to improve my English and Japanese language skills with native people. Comparing to other colleges in Japan, MIC had many more native English professors who could help us to lead to the higher levels. As we know, Japan is one of the safest countries in the world. In addition, Japan has a very high literacy rate. I also love Japanese animation. Those were the reasons I chose Japan for my destination of higher education.

How did you handle the drastic change of environment?

I’ve experienced many changes previously. I just accept the changes, stay positive and try to connect with local people.

Was it difficult to make friends?

I have very good relationships with my friends at MIC. At first it was kind of difficult to communicate because we were in online classes due to the pandemic. But eventually in the 2nd semester, the classes went back to face-to-face then we were able to meet everyone and everyone was so friendly.

How do you like the learning style of MIC?

In my perspective, learning style of MIC is excellent. There are only limited number of students in one class which helps us to interact with other students and teachers.

What is your favorite subject?

Actually I enjoyed all the subjects I have taken so far such as history, sociology, and photography. I’m looking forward to learning IT and other subjects in the future.

What is your future goal?

Right now, my goal is to improve my English and Japanese language proficiency. I would like to learn other languages such as French or Spanish.
