On Sunday, October 27, Miyazaki International University students and faculty participated in a parade during the Miyazaki Jingu Festival. This festival is a valuable opportunity to experience the traditions of the community, and the procession of the shrine starting from the Oyodo Otabisho was a great experience for all participants.

The procession proceeded to Miyazaki Jungu, receiving warm cheers from many people. Our bonds were strengthened as we interacted with the local people and enjoyed the festival together. We believe that through this procession, the participating students were able to reaffirm the importance of local culture and feel their own role in it.

The slogan “From Miyazaki, we will create human resources who can play an active role in the global society ‼︎” expresses our strong wish for the future. Miyazaki International University will continue to grow and develop so that our students can play an active role on the international stage, while maintaining close ties with the local community.
