ご存じのように、コロナ感染が再びまん延し始め、感染者数が急激に増加しています。専門家はすでに第８波が始まったと警鐘を鳴らしております。

第７波で猛威を振るった「BA.5」とは異なる新たな変異株も確認されており、第７波同様に後遺症が多発する可能性も指摘されています（未確定な情報がまだ多いです）。

本学でも第８波に備えて、マスク着用、検温、対面での食事禁止、講義中の窓の開放、手の消毒、密状態の回避（接近を避ける）を徹底してください。

Dear Students, Faculty and Staff,

 

As you are aware, COVID-19 is spreading yet again and the number of infected people is on a rise rapidly. Experts are raising an alarm that the eighth wave may be upon us.

New mutant strains different from the “BA.5” strain that was prevalent in the 7th wave have been identified and it has been pointed out that these may cause many cases of sequelae (thought there are lots of unconfirmed information).

In preparation for the 8th wave, we at MIC must also take rigorous measures including wearing masks, taking temperature measurements, refrain from eating face-to-face, make sure to open windows during class, hands sanitization and avoid getting into crowded situations (avoid close contacts).
