「考える力を身に付けましょう」
食・生活習慣などによる糖・脂質代謝異常を契機とする生活習慣病（脂質異常症、肥満症、糖尿病など）について研究しています。生活習慣病は、大人の問題と考えているかも知れませんが、子ども期（児童・生徒）における正しい食・生活習慣が非常に重要であることが科学的に分かってきました。従って、保育所・幼稚園・小学校などの教育現場において、正しい食・生活習慣の在り方を教育することが非常に重要になり、「食育」が開始されました。先生を目指す諸君には、「こどもの食・生活習慣・食育」において、現在何が問題になっているか、またその解決法についてしっかりした知識を身につけて欲しいと思っています。一緒に勉強しましょう。
