History allows us to be visitors in other times and places. It is a way of asking questions about who we are, why societies change, and how ideas move across cultures and time. In our classes, we will explore not only what happened, but also how people thought about their world, and how those ideas continue to shape the present. We will connect the past to the present, and learn to see history not as something distant, but as something alive and meaningful.
